Chuck Burton, owner and founder of The Realestate Group started his real estate career in 1959. Chuck returned to his home state of Michigan after the Korean War. “After the war, I was confused and didn’t know what to do with my life. I tried the insurance business but my heart wasn’t in it. Once I discovered real estate, I knew I had found my niche.” In his first month, Burton had 28 listings and on his way to success.

Burton came west in 1973 and worked for a variety of brokers until he and a partner formed Mori & Associates in 1988. They struggled during the early 1990’s recession and the business was eventually sold to Century 21. Burton knew that he had to go out on his own so in 1999 he started TRG – The Realestate Group.

With all of the incentives offered to his associates by Burton, TRG grew to over 600 associates in just a few years. “My office works for everyone involved. Once people come and find out that I am a nice guy, they tend to stay.”
